Valentine’s Day Vow Renewal: When One ‘I Do’ Is Not Enough

We LOVE love at Weddings InStyle, so what better way to celebrate the most romantic day of the year then to offer a MASSIVE vow renewal for those looking to recommit their love to one and other. Marriage is an institution that now a days could use some renewing. Life sometimes gets in the way. People have these blowout weddings, but that doesn’t necessarily correlate with having a long marriage and maintaining it. A vow renewal can be a signifier to oneself and to the larger community that something has endured and that there is a commitment to keep it going. Good relationships never stop growing. Like fine wine, they get better with age.   No marriage is perfect. Many couples tend to think of marriage as a 50/50 proposition. Actually, the best relationships are 90/10. If you both will give 90% and take only 10%, you will have a formula likely to continue to bring both of you happiness for a lifetime.  Whether you have been married a short time or 60 years we are offering a beautiful setting so that you could renew your vow and recommit your love for each other... What is this event about? 


Weddings InStyle Valentine’s Day Vow Renewal Ceremony allows committed couples to take part in a romantic declaration of love.

Why is this event-taking place? 
 This is your chance to tell your significant other just how much you still love him/her as part of a romantic ceremony that will conjure up emotions from your wedding day or civil union.

When does the Renewal of the Vows take place? 
 Tuesday, February 14th at 5:30pm

Where does the Renewal of the Vows take place? 
Weddings InStyle 107 Murray Street in the Byward Market

Will each couple renew their vows separately or as part of the group?
 The renewal ceremony will be performed as a group.

Will religion be a part of this event? No. This is not a religious event.

What is the cost to participate in this event? 
 This is a FREE event.

Do we have to register for this event? 
 Yes, please pre-register for this event. The chapel will be filled on a first come first serve basis and we will be closing registration once we hit capacity. We would LOVE to have you join our fan page on Facebook too as we will be sharing some your love stories there. 

When should we arrive? 
 We will begin to fill the chapel at 5:00 Couples should arrive no later than 5:15pm. Ceremony starts at 5:30 sharp!

How long will the ceremony take? 
 The ceremony will take approximately 15 minutes.

Is this a legally binding event? 
 No, this is simply an opportunity for you to reconfirm your love and commitment to your significant other.

Do we need to bring anything with us? 
 All you need is to show up with your 

significant other and lots of love.

Can we bring guests with us? No, unfortunately space is limited so we are limiting this only to married couples renewing their vows.
